vision.

Lewis Pogue was born from the belief that the cacao bean can be handcrafted to create a taste experience that is deeply joyful and transcends a person's everyday chocolate fix. We are committed to making that experience ethical, satisfying and worth sharing.

We are proud to be one of the few bean-to-bar companies based in the South. And we enthusiastically join a cocoa craft movement that considers the welfare of the farmers and the earth to be an integral part of making superior chocolate. We believe that strong, empowering relationships are good business and a positive way toward a better world. That begins with family and extends throughout the bean-to-bar process.

Lewis Pogue uses organic, single-origin beans, without additives or artifice, from the best cacao-growing regions in the world . We value cocoa’s rich history and also in moving it forward by taking exciting risks and by being creative. That’s what life should be. And that’s what chocolate is for us.
